Cleft lip and palate update
Authors draw attention to severity of cleft lip and palate (cheilognatopalatoschisis) and introduce actual knowledge on their epidemiology and etiopathogenesis. They emphasize need of interdisciplinary approach in diagnosis and treatment of the clefts. They mention also some new treatment methods from aspect of maxillofacial surgery.
