Experience of workers in social services with the course and results of supervision

The social service provider is obliged to provide the support of a qualified independent expert for employees who perform direct work with persons to whom the social service is imparted. This support is often presented as a form of supervision. The aim of supervision is enabling the professional development of the worker and support him/her in dealing with stressful situations related to his /her work. The effectiveness of the presented has not been yet analysed. Also, studies related to this topic have been unique in the Czech Republic. This work aims to present a questionnaire that could be used in the future to ascertain the opinions of workers on supervision. At the same time, some impressive results from the study, which was carried out in the Czech environment are available.
