Specific of pain and its treatment in patiens with orofacial tumors – general overview and casuistry

We analyze patients with orofacial tumors who present 7 % from all 3 858 cancer pain patients in our pain clinic during 25 years. This pain is mucousus, musculary, boneus, neuropatic, surmounted by psychopatic pain. These patiens have handicaped organs which are important for breathing and eating. Pain control of these patiens is specific and very difficult because of primary disease, side effects of treatment and corresponding stress. This problem deserve special care of all algesiologists and good cooperation with stomatosurgeons, otorhinolaryngologists and oncologists. We add casuistry too.
