Social support and its importance for adolescents with cancer
The contribution is focused on specific content issues, namely social support for adolescents who are limited by cancer. Cancer significant social changes the world a young man and his family and of course, extends well into the broader social structures. Providing social and emotional anchor to act against encouraging survival and stress acting in the direction of reducing the fear of therapy, reducing depression and despair, leads to reducing the sense of isolation, helplessness, hopelessness and feeling of abandonment. Perceived social support for oncology disease contributes to a general improvement of quality of life.
