Psychical problems of the incurably ill and the tasks of a psychologist in palliative care

This contribution is about psychological determinants of coping with a serious situation brought by an incurable illness. It speaks about psychical problems of the incurably ill patients and the process of accepting death. We also speak about tasks of psychologists in the palliative care related to patients, his relatives, survivals and team members, volunteers as well as organizational and educational activities.
