Neuropathic pain of patients with cancer

Neuropathic pain is caused by pathology affecting the central or peripheral nervous system. It is a heterogeneous entity produced by multiple etiologies generated by nerve compression, deafferentation nerve injury and sympathetically induced pain. Nonopioids, opioids and adjuvant drugs, including antiepileptics, antidepressants, with local anesthetics are important therapeutic options.
