Treatment of breathlessness in patients with oncologic disease
Shortness-of-breath is a very frequent symptom in patients in terminal phase of oncoloqique disease. In this article, I deal with its causes, mechanisms of its origin, and with different modalities of instrumental and medicamentous (drug) treatment. All this in relationship with the also important measures requiring a multidisciplinary approach of the therapeutic team.
