Treatment of painful syndromes (part 2): visceral pain
Visceral pain is a prominent symptom of many clinical conditions. Visceral pain is treated by different specialists, who often have quite different approaches to pain management. Visceral pain has diffuse character, bad localization and manifestation as referred pain. Usually are localized in abdominal and chest region and are accompanied by vegetative symptoms. They are best evaluated and treated using multidisciplinary approach.
