Ethical and psychological aspects when accompanying the sick and dying
This paper highlights the importance of ethical and psychological aspects when accompanying the sick and dying as a service from one man to another. It focuses on the quality of life of dying patients, and on the needs that must be met by those who care and accompany a sick and dying patient during the final stages of a patient’s life. Finally, it also points to the importance of building a personal identity by those who accompany dying persons in their self-fulfilment of serving another human being.
