Child in the terminal stage and the importance of family support in palliative care
The dying child is a difficult situation, which affects not only the child itself, but mostly family. Reactions to the death of children are individual depending on the age and mental maturity. Palliative approach is rare in pediatric patients. It is important to always recognize a time limit exhausted all available treatment options. Up to this point, begins its operations palliative care.
