Activities of the support and palliative care team of the University Hospital Ostrava
The aim of the presented article is to present the mission of the palliative team of the University Hospital in Ostrava. The text is based on generally valid definitions as well as on the materials of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in the field of palliative care in medical facilities. At a general level, we present procedures in communication with the patient both within the Ambulance of supportive and palliative care, as well as within the palliative councils at individual hospital clinics.
