Chronic lymphocytic leukemia – genetics

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia – CLL is an hemato-oncological disease with relatively high incidence among adults. While the disease can be indolent during years in a group of patients, some of them has got agressive form of ilness where specific treatment management is needed. Genetic analysis of exact genetic aberrations mostly improves patient´s stratification into the risk groups. This article will be devoted just to these well-known chromosomal aberrations with bright prognostic meaning routinly examined in daily practice.
