IMPORTANCE AND POSITION OF CANCER MARKERS IN SCREENING, DIAGNOSTICS AND FOLLOW-UP OF ONCOLOGIC PATIENTS

In the presented publication the author has summarised his experience over the past 35 years with measuring and clinical interpretation of tumour markers. The most imporant tumour markers are briefly characterised and the possibilities of their employment in clinical practice in the respective tumour localisations are discussed.
