HEMATOPOETIC CELL TRANSPLANTATIONS IN PEDIATRIC PATIENTS

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is a well established and efficient therapy of life-threatening malignant and nonmalignat diseases, such as acquired bone marrow failure syndromes, inherited and autoimmune disorders. This article summarieses the use of allogeneic and autologous transplants in childhood cancer patients.
