„Therapeutic“ mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of oncological patients – truth or error?
On animal (rodent) models the genetically modified („therapeutic“) mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) exhibit very interesting therapeutic results. However, the application of the „therapeutic“ MSC in the treatment of the oncological patients is ineffective, and by i.v. application rather toxic.
