Strategy of use antifungals in the treatment of oncologic patients IFD
Invasive fungal infections are present in oncology setting according to risk factors and epidemiological situation. Modern antifungal drugs and diagnostic procedures are available in majority of our centers. The use of antifungals in cancer patients can be either prophylactic or therapeutic and there are typical factors for particular centers which define the strategy. Specific strategic applications for cancer patients at risk are discussed in this article.
