Report from the 1st Abbott Conference for Cancer Nutrition Therapy, April 12-14, 2010, Istanbul Turkey
The article approaches the importance and role of nutritional support with an omega n-3 fatty acid − EPA (eicosasopentaenoic acid), which normalizes some of the metabolic processes affecting the weight of cancer patients, as an integral part of multimodal treatment of cancer patients. These informations were presented at the above Congress.
