CERVICAL CANCER SCREENING
The author gives information about effective screening of cervix carcinoma in Nordic countires, which have the lowest incidence of this disease. Based on the information about the cause of the disease − HPV – and the transformation of the disease into invasive carcinoma, the author explains the principles of effective algorithm of screening examination. In conclusion the author gives information about organisation of screening in Slovakia in near future.
