SENTINEL LYMPH NODE IN PRACTICE
Axillary lymph node staging is the most powerfull predictor of survival in breast cancer women. The benefit of this metod is an accurate staging assessment and elimination of the complications following axillary lymph node dissection. Authors present their practical five years experience with detection of sentinel lymph node, discuss metods of blue dye mapping, radionavigation and pathological assessment.
