SOFT TISSUE SARCOMAS IN CHILDRENS AND ADOLESCENTS

Soft tissue sarcomas are rare tumors, they may occur at any age. It is heterogenous group of different histology types, different biology and different clinical behavior. Different treatment strategy is used for childrens and adults. Adolescents with sarcomas could be managed by both pediatric and medical oncologists. Decision regarding location of treatment should be based on the best patient interest.
