Death following brain metastases evolvement in patient with metastatic castration resistant adenocarcinoma of prostate treated by enzalutamide with low level PSA
Background: Brain metastases from prostate cancer are uncommon, particularly in early period of disease progression. Case: We present the case of patient with castration resistant adenocarcinoma of prostate with low level of PSA and detected brain metastases with fast subsequent progression and death. Conclusion: Due to prolonged survival in the era of new treatment modalities the probability of brain metastases evolvement increases thus follow-up of these patients must be adopted appropriately.
