Relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
Salvage chemotherapy and high-dose therapy with autologous stem cell transplantation are standard of treatment in chemosensitive relapses in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The best standard salvage treatment is not established. Adverse factors influenced survival: early relaps (< 12 months), prior treatment with rituximab and second international prognostic index score of 2 – 3. Moreover, patients with ABC subtype and myc translocation responded poorly to standard treatment. Allogeneic transplantation and regimens with new drugs can improve poor prognosis of patients, which don´t take advantage from standard treatment.
