PREOPERATIVE MRI AND CT EVALUATION OF BRAIN TUMORS
The progress of the radiology methods, namely introducing CT and mostly MR, in to clinical praxis have been useful to presurgery assessment of brain tumors. Recently CT remain suitable procedure for the stereotactic biopsy and neuronavigation. CT remain most accessible radiological procedure for the detection of brain tumors. Advances in MR imaging such as DVO, MRS, PMR lead to more precise assessment of brain tumor.
