Patient registries – a need for real data in the context of efficacy, safety and cost effectiveness
The health system and its parts are more often confronted with the need for real clinical and economical data. This data are unavoidable in the reimbursment process for new therapeutical or diagnostic procedures, where there is a some space for uncertainty. The need for real clinical and cost data is also explicitly formulated by the payers.
