New trends in psychosocial oncology
The number of cancer survivors will increase in the coming years. Urgent task is, therefore, to raise awareness on important steps for their better support in legislation, psychosocial care, rehabilitation and palliative care. Psychosocial care needs to be embedded in national cancer control plans as a key aspect of cancer patient care.
