Nephroblastoma – diagnostics problems and treatment
Nephroblastoma, the most frequent primary malignant renal tumor in children, is a paradigm for multimodal treatment of the pediatric malignant solid tumor. Progressive development in surgical techniques, postoperative care, recognition of the sensitivity of tumor to radiation, the availability of active chemotherapeutic agents, led to dramatic changes in the prognosis of disease, originally for most of patients lethal.
