SPINAL TUMORS: MANAGEMENT OF SURGICAL TREATMENT
The general categories of spinal tumors include primary spinal tumors and secondary - metastatic spinal tumors. Spinal tumors can be divided into extradural, intradural - depending on their relation to the dura mater of the spinal cord. In this paper emphasis is put on diagnostics and possibilities of surgical treatment in patients with primary and secondary extradural tumors of spine. This paper suggests the philosophy of management in patients with spinal tumors rather than describing detailed surgical procedures.
