Treatment of COVID-19 in oncological patients
COVID-19 disease caused by a new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV 2) has significantly burdened healthcare sectors with a high number of patients in a need of comprehensive care. However, we do not yet have a clearly effective therapy for this disease, despite extensive global efforts. Nor do we have the data of efficacy and safety of the drugs in individual subpopulations of patients at increased risk of severe disease, such as cancer patients. The aim of this article is to summarize the data we have about individual drugs on COVID-19.
