Clinical research in Slovakia from the perspective of the National Oncology Institute
Clinical research has a very important role in improving therapeutic, diagnostic, as well, as preventive approaches. It has an opportunity to answer the scientific questions and, at the same time, to generate the scientific hypotheses. It has also a potential to push the boundaries of human knowledge and, last but not least, it enables the patients to have an access to potentially more effective innovative treatment approaches. Current manuscript is a review of a clinical research in Slovakia from the perspective of the National Oncology Institute.
