Classification and stratification of acute myeloblastic leukemia – new European LeukemiaNet 2022 recommendations
New recommendations of the International Expert panel on Behalf of the European LeukemiaNet (ELN) in diagnosis and management of AML, which bring changes in risk stratification are in force since July 2022 and they thus replace the revised recommendations of AML risk stratification from 2017. In addition, at the end of June 2022, the international clinical advisory committees published The International Consensus Classification (ICC) of myeloid neoplasms and acute leukemias, which is an update of the fourth edition of WHO classification of AML.
