Interdisciplinary collaboration in case of diagnostics and treatment mycosis fungoides

Purpose: Mycosis fungoides is primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. In most cases has indolent, slow progresing nature, imitating benign diseases of skin. MF affect older population, twice more men than women. Selection of treatment strategy depending on stage of the disease. Treatment is local skin-directed and systemic. Case: Our case is about 58-years old man, he was dispatched by dermatologist. After inicial staging, we started combinated treatment with excellent result. Drug toxicity – elevation of liver enzymes, started after several cycles of therapy. Dose deescalation of interferon alfa-2b helped stabilized liver enzymes and maintened treatment response. Conclusion: This case study highlight to interdisciplinary collaboration of dermatologist, hematologist and oncologist.
