Hypocalciemia and skeletal health of oncological patients
In the field of solving skeletal health problems, calcium and its metabolism have a key position. Calcium is one of the main building block of the bone metabolism. There are many reasons of hypocalcaemia such as insufficient intake or excessive excretion, or drug-induced calcium metabolism disorder. Hypocalcemia has wide clinical signs and manifestations. The aim of this article is to notice this problem, to show the reasons of hypocalcemia and also diagnostic and therapeutical possibilities.
