HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA
The treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma has changed considerably in the last decades. This entity is now one of the most curable human malignancies. With improved survival and extended follow-up, relevance of treatment induced late effects became more evident. Therefore modern terapeutic strategies must maximize chance of cure and minimize the risk of therapy associated toxicity. Here we review the pathology of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, clinical presentation, risk stratification, current treatment approaches and toxicity of the treatment.
