Using ozone therapy in dermatology
Ozone is an oxygen molecule that acts as a strong oxidant in vitro. It has polymorphic uses in medicine, its antimicrobial and immunoregulatory properties dominate. Its beneficial effect is observed, for example, in wound healing by stimulating the immune system, and high efficacy against Gram-negative, Gram-positive bacteria, viruses and mycosis is also confirmed. The article complements a case report, in whitch the authors point out the benefits of using ozone therapy as an adjuvant treatment for patients with lichen ruber pemphigoides. Treatment is also characterized by excellent patient tolerance and actually no side effects.
