The incidence of psychopathological features and quality of life in patients with atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is a common dermatological condition that causes significant problems in everyday life and leads to reduction of mental health. Many dermatologists share the opinion that psychiatric disorders are frequent among subjects who suffer from skin disease. The aim of our work was to investigate the association between patients with atopic dermatitis and the level of psychopathology. There were 104 patients with the dermatological diagnosis in the sample group and 52 people in the control group.
