A severe case of rosacea
A case of papulopustular and phymatous rosacea is presented. A patient with this diagnosis was treated at the Acne clinic. Clinical features of the illness were typical. First, a treatment with peroral metronidazol was administered and inflammatory components were improved. Later, the therapy with peroral isotretinoin for 10 months had a positive effect on phymatous mass. After one year, an excellent result of the treatment is still present. The patient is using suitable dermatocosmetics and he is following all rosacea protection’measures.
