Psychosocial aspects of atopic eczema in children

Eczema atopicum is a highly pruritic, chronic or chronically relapsing inflammatory skin disease. Exacerbation is typical for spring and autumn, in summer, on the contrary, there is mitigation and resolution of skin lesions. Chronic disease has a negative impact on social relations and identity formation of the child.
