Paraneoplastic pansclerotic process in patient with carcinoid syndrome
A carcinoid tumor is classified as a neuroendocrine tumor, most frequently localised in the gastrointestinal tract, it can be associated with cutaneous manifestations like flushing, teleangiectasia, pellagra-like dermatitis and in rare cases scleroderma. Authors present a rare case of severe pansclerotic involvement of low extremities in a female patient with carcinoid.
