Advers skin effect of target therapy in oncology
In recent years,new targeted drugs with more specific mechanisms of action have been added to the treatment of advanced oncological diseases. They are usually better tolerated than conventional chemotherapy but are characterized by a variety of adverse side effects. Many of the unwanted symptoms are manifesting on the skin, so it is necessary to know not only their clinical images, but also their proper management to be able continue with targeted therapy, when they appear. Side skin effects are very common with administration of epidermal growth factor inhibitors (EGFRI). Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICPIS): anti CTLA-4 antibodies,anti PD-1 antibodies, anti PD-L1 antibodies they also have different side effects and among the most common are those that apear on the skin.
