The most common types of diseases of the hair and scalp
A significant proportion of patients seen by skin specialists are those complaining of hair and scalp problems. Although relatively common, these diseases are not life-threatening; however, they tend to be perceived as very sensitive issues and particularly a long-term and apparent pathology of this area represents a major psychological burden for the patient.
