Healing of wounds with hyaluronic acid
Wound healing is a complicated biological process, where interaction between epidermal cells, dermal cells and extracellular matrix is coordinated by cytokines and growth factors. Ongoing in three overlapping phases: inflamatory, proliferative and remodeling, resulting in an epitelization of newly formed granulation tissue. Not all wounds heal quickly and without complications. It is important, especially in chronic wounds, support healing process with suitable local treatment. Between them are those with content of hyaluronic acid like active substance appropriate.
