Dermoscopy of melanoma malignum

Dermoscopy is an integral part of dermatological and especially dermatoonkological examination. Its accuracy directly depends on the training and practice of the dermatologist. Compared to clinical diagnostic, manual and computer dermoscopy brings diagnostic accuracy in pigment lesions. It helps distinguish benign from malignant lesions and allows us to specify which lesion coul be just folloved up or which is necessary to be extirpated. Big interest in this examination method is given thanks to its focus - differential diagnosis the most malignant skin tumor – malignant melanoma.
