Dermoscopy and computer dermoscopy

Dermoscopy (epiluminiscence microscopy) is a non-invasive diagnostic method for the observation of pigment lesions in vivo. It allows the recognition of morphological structures that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye, and in this way opens up further possibilities for studying the morphological features of pigment skin lesions. Dermoscopic examination helps to clarify diagnostic of the disease melanoma malignum by 20-30%.
