Androgenetic alopecia and treatment options
Androgenetic alopecia is the most common type of chronic nonscaring hair loss affecting both sexes. It is characterized by progressive miniaturization of hair follicles with characteristic manifestation in men and women. There are a number of therapies available in the treatment, but none of them reveale 100 % efficacy. The article is providing a brief overview of therapies in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in men and women.
