Problems of patient-ventilator asynchrony, there is a solution?
For adequate efficiency and minimizing the harmful effects of mechanical ventilation is important right interaction between patient and ventilator. Asynchrony between a patient and ventilator is frequent and leads to prolonged weaning, prolonged duration of mechanical ventilation, increasing the likelihood of injury of respiratory muscles and complications associated with mechanical ventilation. In this article we talk about mechanism of its origin, its impaction to the patient and the possible solutions of this problem.
