Ethical and legal context of COVID-19
The lege artis procedure should be observed also in patients with COVID-19. Due to resources limitations, high mortality and the growing number of patients with this nosological unit, the ethical and legal area is highly actual. This article deals with terms related to end of life decisions. The right to refuse treatment by the patient is also important, even with the risk of his death, as an extreme example of the principle of autonomy.
